What if India had its own version of OnlyFans — Not focused on nudity or explicit content, but rather a creator-powered platform for bold self-expression, audio storytelling, premium fashion shoots, sensual poetry, or lifestyle secrets? A space where creators can build intimate communities, offer exclusive content, and monetize through subscriptions — all while staying within legal and cultural boundaries. But is India ready for that? Would society accept it? Would people pay for it? Can a platform like this survive legally and ethically here? I’m exploring this idea from both a startup and humanities lens: freedom of expression, changing norms, and safe digital spaces. I’d love to hear your thoughts: Would you support a platform like this? What challenges or opportunities do you see? How can we design it to empower, not exploit?
