Zuckerberg just have15% Stake in meta, But Controls 100% - Here’s How 🤔 Yes, it’s true. Mark Zuckerberg holds less than 15% shares in Meta, but has full control over the company. How is that possible? 🧠 Because Meta has a dual share system: - Class A = 1 vote per share - Class B = 10 votes per share And Zuckerberg owns almost all of Class B shares! But this is not the only trick big companies use to stop outsiders from taking control. Here are 2 more smart strategies: 1️⃣ Poison Pill: If someone is buying too many shares, the company gives more shares to current shareholders - so the new buyer’s control goes down. (Twitter used this against Elon Musk in 2022) 2️⃣ Staggered Board: All board members don’t get replaced at once. So even if someone has votes, they can’t change the whole board quickly. (Netflix used this in 2012 against Carl Icahn) Smart investors don’t just buy shares… they buy control.
