The Rise of AI Experience: Are User Interfaces Becoming Obsolete? With agentic AI on the rise, I wonder if we'll ever need to open apps like Ola, Amazon, or Zomato again. Instead of browsing through their UI, we'll just ask our AI to "book a cab" or "order groceries" — and it’ll handle everything in the background. At that point, the app's design, user interface, and branding won’t matter anymore. What will matter is how easily an AI can use it. "User Experience" might quietly be replaced by "AI Experience." The scary part? If companies start sponsoring AI models, we won’t even know when we’re being sold something — the AI will just choose for us. Not the cheapest. Not the best. Just the most profitable to push. That future isn't far. And we’re not ready.
