On the downside, there might be times when the financial strain they face might tip them over the edge There are quite a lot of companies that have grown to be behemoths in their respective industries without raising money from investors. Zoho Corp is one of the best examples of a bootstrapped business in India. Few others are Mojang Studios (The creators of Minecraft), JetBrains (Enterprise Software Developer), Hewlett-Packard (I don't think there is anyone who doesn't know hP), and much more
