The Air in Nagpur is Cleaner Than London's. Let That Sink In. ☺️ Did a quick air quality check out of habit. Then, for comparison, I checked London - a city we often associate with high standards. The results were a genuine eye-opener. Here’s the data, side-by-side: 📍 Nagpur, India: A "Good" AQI between 32-42. 📍 London, UK: A "Moderate" PM2.5 AQI of 72. We are so conditioned to think of our growing Indian cities as "polluted" and Western capitals as the "clean" benchmark. But the data, at least for today, tells a different story. This is a huge win for a city like Nagpur, but it's also a massive warning sign. We currently have something precious here that developed, dense megacities are struggling to maintain. The critical question for us is: How do we ensure we don't "develop" ourselves into the same corner? Our path to growth can't just mimic the West's. We have to innovate a more sustainable way forward. Let's move beyond the usual debates. What's one specific policy or action you believe is key to protecting the air quality of India's fast-growing cities? 👇
