Smart City, Dumb Drainage. 📍Gurgaon, 2025. 45mm of rain. 3 feet of water. 4 hours of traffic. Zero accountability. When will we learn??? A “Millennium City” built on glass towers and vanished wetlands. Underpasses designed like bathtubs. Flyovers that flood faster than dreams. And every monsoon, we call it “unexpected.” This isn’t climate change. It’s PLANNING FAILURE. It’s pouring water on plastic sheets and calling it progress. It’s choking runoff channels and blaming the rain. Smart cities aren’t smart if they drown in drizzle. They’re dull cities. Dead cities. 😵 💚 We don’t need more concrete. We need SPONGE cities. We need green lungs, not glass facades. We need leaders who listen, not just launch. Until then; We’re not stuck in traffic. We’re stuck in DENIAL. Video Credit - The Indian Express
