The pain point is absolutely valid - I've seen this firsthand in smaller cities. The challenge will be onboarding workers who might not be smartphone-savvy, but if you crack this, it's huge.

it's a problem alright but you need a decent approach for this to work and probably some decent amount of funding. Mobile app is a worse approach as there's decent amount of friction here but the problem doesn't happen often. How often do you call a plumber or electrician. Besides reviews and stuff is gonna overwhelm the users and workers. Doesn't build trust but breaks it. Too many problems not for an amateur to build
