A lot of people are not ready to hear this unpopular opinion but Zepto has already touched it's downfall. Here’s why it’s becoming shadier everyday: 1. Random price jumps for no reason I legit got charged ₹30–₹50 extra after placing my last 2 order. No notification, no breakdown. And apparently, I’m not the only one but the Play Store reviews are full of this. 2. Never-ending platform charges You think your order’s ₹150? Boom! Then add surge fee, GST, handling, “platform fee” and suddenly you’re paying ₹230 for 2 items. 3. Glitchy UX that nobody asked for Zepto’s UI be auto-selecting the highest quantity of products. Like?? I wanted 2 Maggie packets, not 18. Fix it pls. 4. Forced Zepto Pass charges?? Some users (including me) got auto-charged ₹1–₹99 for the Zepto membership without even realizing it. No pop-up, not even opt-in just silently added. The truth is: people won’t quit Zepto overnight. But they’ve already stopped trusting it. And in the long run, trust > speed.
