Hard disagree. This sounds like you're scared of rejection so you're putting up walls. The best partnerships I've seen started with agencies going above and beyond with spec work. If you can't invest in winning business, how can clients trust you'll invest in their success?

This hits so hard. The ghosting after initial enthusiasm is the worst part of agency life. But honestly, your new approach sounds backwards to me - how do you show value without showing the work first? Seems like you're just adding more barriers between you and potential clients.
