When it comes to Chatgpt, i expect that they'll not add direct ads (i mean those banner type ads), they'll instead add those sponsered search results where they'll promote a specific company. For eg, few months ago they launched operators which It's basically an tool which can autonomously browse websites and do stuff for us (like ordering). So in the launch alone they had partnered with brands like Instacart. And I very well think that this is what will happen in huge scale. For eg coders getting recommendation to use Azure when asked for Cloud suggestions etc etc. That's still better than those banner ads imo.
