the time pieces that you see today narrates a whole story about how it started and became famous, India had a brand which ultimately never tried to step into the selective customer market. Also worth mentioning we became independent in 1947, so considering the financial strength of individuals back in 60s, it was hard for the families to buy something luxurious! that's why India was never fit for the premium products market
