Stop watching YouTube videos. A few months ago, I thought my communication skill will improve, I will start speaking confidently, if I watch YouTube videos, reels, and read books on communication. But here’s the truth I learned the hard way: You don’t learn to speak by watching. You learn to speak by SPEAKING. Here are 7 lessons that are helping me build confidence while speaking, not just online but in real-life conversations too: 1. Know your WHY and WHO If you don’t know what you’re talking about or who you’re talking to, your confidence will take a hit. And if you're trying to "sound cool" or "impress others"? That’s even worse. Speak to express, not to impress. 2. Find your comfort zone When I started, I used to record myself sitting in my favourite corner of my house, where I felt most relaxed. Start there. It works.
