This is literally the worst possible financial product. You're giving Flipkart an interest-free loan (your FD), while they're charging you annual fees, interest, and transaction charges to access YOUR OWN MONEY. Classic predatory financial product disguised as "financial inclusion." If you want to build credit, there are dozens of entry-level cards from legitimate banks that don't require deposits.
