It's only the Manufacturing Sector that creates job and we are experiencing negative growth in it! Wow. Wait, i actually researched a bit and found out that the situation is same in other countries (including China!). And that's not because The Manufacturing industry ain't growing, it's because the other industries are growing at much faster rate.. This means even when there is a massive increase in manufacturing industry, other industries like service grew way faster which reduced the share of manufacturing sector in India and other countries too. I have attached graph and a table showing share of manufacturing sec in total gdp and absolute Manufacturing growth respectively.

Time for rethinking by the government - Are we doing enough for infrastructure, policy, skills, and technology?

it seems like despite having enough resources to make our country lead in the game..it's the govt which is not making the right steps to achieve glory. they are very good at amending IT act to torture us😭

Mass Manufacturing where mass labour is required survives only on low cost and india cant ever compete on that coz off our labout laws and unions.. so india has missed the bus 40 years ago now it will only be manufacturing for self consumption within the country or may be textile to a certin extent rest in todays automate & computerised systems we can never be leaders ever that dream is finished..

Look at how Korea’s manufacturing share exploded post-1960s. That was no accident. Coordinated industrial policy, export-oriented strategy, deep investment in R&D and infrastructure. India’s approach? Mostly vibes and bureaucracy.

This chart screams it. While Korea and even Bangladesh ramped up manufacturing as part of their economic growth, India basically leapfrogged into services without fully building its industrial backbone. That's not "growth hacking", it's a structural flaw.
