India's Software vs Hardware Exports, 2022. Government's PLI Scheme can be clearly seen working for Computer Hardware Manufacturing in India. From almost negligible exports in 2000s to $13 Billion in exports in 2022. India is certainly late in Manufacturing spree but now, India is a great contender to China's Hegemony in Manufacturing.

This a half report, bring in the data from 1990s, best days for IT was in early 2000s. Growth has declined now. PLI push is good but the same old theory of 2000s will not work. AI can make better softwares now.
