Thrive Shuts Down – But It Meant Something More Founded in 2020 by Krishi Fagwani, Dhruv Dewan, and Karan Chechani, Thrive aimed to reshape food delivery — giving restaurants more control and customers like me a better experience. Backed by Whiteboard Capital and Jubilant Foodworks, it wasn’t just another app. Personally, I found Thrive’s service smoother and more affordable than Swiggy or Zomato — no crazy markups, just honest pricing and reliable delivery. Sadly, in 2024, Thrive shut down, unable to keep up with the industry’s aggressive discount wars and deep-pocketed giants. But it stood for something rare: fairness, transparency, and local empowerment. Thank you, Thrive. You made food delivery feel human again.
