Just realized something odd—while Swiggy Instamart and Blinkit clearly display the final amount on the payment button itself, Zepto doesn’t show it anywhere upfront. You actually have to dig into the ‘Bill Summary’ to find out how much you’re paying. If Instamart and Blinkit can make this transparent, what’s stopping Zepto? Is this just careless UX—or a deliberate dark pattern? Why design around the assumption that users won’t notice?

nah bro this is deliberate. they’ve done A/B testing and know that not showing the full amount upfront reduces cart abandonment. it’s too specific to be an accident. they’re just betting users won’t complain loud enough.
