but my real question is these big companies which make huge money from oil and petroleum, how long can they survive and what happens when these fossil fuels get completely used up 🌝

I think they already investing in Hydrogen and Electric sector. Because they're always focus on future trends more than us.

I don't think future is going to be hydrogen , as the fact that solar is getting cheaper and cost of electric is going to be too low in future, at one point making synthetic methane using electricity will be fine , even tho it's not efficient at all
