Politics today feels more like performance than leadership. Leaders, especially those returning to power like Trump, often act impulsively—not out of ignorance, but out of ego and a subconscious need to be seen. The illusion of power feeds their belief that their decisions are right simply because they made them. Introspection dies under the camera's gaze. But this isn’t just their fault—we, as a society, enable it. We consume drama, bold headlines, and chaos, rewarding spectacle over substance. Most don’t form their own opinions; they inherit them from biased narratives. We’ve become passive, lazy thinkers. The system is broken not just because of who’s in power, but because of how we react to them. If we don’t mentally revolt—challenge narratives, seek depth—we’ll stay imprisoned in apathy. Maybe real change comes not from within the system, but from those brave enough to question it from outside. Maybe it starts with asking: is this the leadership we truly want?
