Lately, I’ve been going through HubSpot’s certification, and honestly… it changed the way I look at marketing. The kind of marketing most people talk about online — especially influencers — is completely different from what actual big brands do behind the scenes. One thing that really stood out to me was the SMART principle: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound. So simple, yet so powerful. But no one talks about it. All we see is “I went viral” or “I gained 100k followers doing this one trick.” Cool. But where’s the strategy? Even SEMrush teaches the same fundamentals. That’s when it clicked: This is what real marketing looks like. And here’s the crazy part — even scammers use this. They build fake brands, make themselves look credible, gain trust… and people fall for it. So I thought to myself — if they can build fake brands and make people believe them… Why not just build something real? Something honest, valuable, and strong? I’m not throwing shade at everyone. But I think we all know — there’s a huge difference between chasing clout and actually building a brand that lasts. Just sharing this because it shifted my mindset big time. It’s not about flashy tactics — it’s about building something that matters.
