People crying about privacy need to understand how the modern world works. Data monetization is happening everywhere - Google, Facebook, and every app on your phone does this daily. At least here the government is transparent about it AND the money goes back to public services. This is actually smart governance - finding non-tax revenue streams instead of burdening citizens with more taxes. Rs 100 crore can fund significant infrastructure improvements that benefit everyone.
