This time, history shouldn’t repeat itself—we should be leading, not just following. Sam is right, We may not be at the forefront of developing world-class AI tools, but when it comes to adaptation, we’re miles ahead—even outpacing many developed nations. AI has seamlessly integrated into our daily lives; college students use it for projects and research, government schemes leverage AI for efficiency, and industries like healthcare, education, and agriculture are already seeing its transformative impact. But here’s the catch: we need to move faster before we become overly dependent on AI tools from the U.S. Remember what happened with the internet and social media between 2005-2010? We missed the wave of innovation and ended up as consumers rather than creators.

We pay the price, they get the discount. Parliament’s menu looks like it’s from 2005, our wallets wish the same.
