I have a question for you. To test whether you have a business mind or not. Now imagine for a moment that you run a beauty business that sells products to young women, and you have to pick a celebrity to collaborate with on Instagram and you have two options. - Either you have Khushi Kapoor who absolutely represents your target group. OR - You have Vedang Raina. Now most people would pick a Khushi Kapoor. However what they don't know is - that more than half of people that follow her are actually men, who are following her to admire her beauty, and as per data 70% followers of Vedang Raina are actually young women your target group and your target audience. While all your competitors would go around trying to woo Khushi to partner them on the campaign. What you can do to really stand out is to partner with Vedang Raina and use that creatively to sell it to your target customers, which would also make your campaign a lot more memorable, and this my friends is the difference between marketing based on HUNCH and doing marketing based on DATA.
