I'm confused as to whether to start with a product or service. I think that for a product either invest yourself or you need to raise funding very soon. Am I thinking right?

PE ratio
Intrinsic value
Free cash flow
Etc.....
Now I want to know whether I want continue my learning or go and check the stocks it is good to invest or not.
