I seriously have no idea about this industry, but have you done any backed research to address the issue ?

I was working on the same idea locally in a very small town Tinsukia Assam.. It's good but I could not continue because of Covid time.. I worked on it for 2 years only.. The idea is very good but need better implementation..

the problem I am facing is skilled labour's aren't easily available here in my area material Is always available

what is blinking sees this massage, they just want to add one more section in there app & contact to local shops or local shops will log into blinking or any other store and Market in tier 1 city is not stable for this industry as everyone is busy & hire a worker to do it you can start business, that on one click you will get workers for services this will work on tier 2 city as in tier 1 almost maximum society has there own service team dm me on instagram:- 911axyush i would love to give more about this startup

perfect !! but what about quality material.. it should be convenient and both ways.. like online searching and finding best material and to make Sure it is good and well designed as well as style with quality the consumer may go offline and check reality.. a shop with address with the best workers provider.. that's great to make innovation

See if you go and see the construction industry it generally runs on borrow system like they used to pay partial amount and remaining is their debt so for that thing I guess you just go on focusing in connecting seller and buyer instead of making a marketplace. Nd one thing my family runs that business of construction material so i knew it on very basic level Nd i have that idea from past 2 years and i have the alternative of that idea too .

My thought on it would be based on the user of the facility like for example Zomato gives food to us because we need it daily. In case of Construction industry we do appoint/ hire an interior or someone who looks after the construction. As we have almost no idea on how things work we might just be an enabler but an enlightened customer who can select what's right or not. So I would suggest Digitalise the system where the customers can keep a track of but the work is done by a Contractor who does the job described above.

I am working on such potential idea. Rather then going online I am working on a d2c offline platform for one stop shop for interior material like IKEA

idea is good, most of the business in this industries are unorganised. it's right time to implement this idea

While I was in the incubation centre, One of the professors there told me the IIM students were working on the very same idea you stated and received a huge amount of funding too(That professor too was on the panel) but I don't know if the app is already launched and operational. If you do not hear about any such service providers in your city, I think you should get started quickly and capture the market soon.

I don’t have much idea about this industry tbh. It sounds good but monetizing is really hard, the number of transactions is going to be very less and each customer might use the app at max 5 times during their lifetime and idk much but usually these people have ties with contractors for deals like these. And no normal user would use take the trouble of handling everything on their own they usually assign it some expert. You’re saying you’ll give coupons which useless coz keeping users on the platform won’t make any difference to you. Unless it is scaled globally, being profitable sounds hard but not impossible so if you’ve done your research then go ahead.

idea is good, but the market isn't accepting you ! why ? there is only the construction material and construction contractor you can bargain at the lowest. you can not make enough commissions. if there are 4 people Rate of 1= 100 Rate of 2= 80 Rate of 3= 75 Rate of 4= 70 and the 4th person who gave you at 70 still makes profits on it. on the other hand, if I want to buy in bulk like cement, steel, or marbel, I have an option to buy direct from factory.

I think there are multiple platforms for construction materials, infra.market is one of them probably if I have the name right but there are platforms.

brother i am in the construction industry for more than 7 years. the prices of the construction material changes from place to place. also connecting to local vendors is a great headache. as you have to go and connect individually. listing small products is a biggest problem for example nails, screws which have different sizes and different materials. also for a 10 to 15 rupees packet of product. it is tough to get it delivered in a cost affective manner.
