There are two components in your idea. An AI model suggesting the skills based on interest and past experience. And the job matching thing. There are exclusive businesses of considerable size targeting both the scenarios individually. In my opinion, Compiling both into one business does more harm than benefit . For the upskilling part, a need for collaborating with the course providing businesses is required and for the job matching part, collaboration with the hiring companies is required. Needless to say, this is more complicated and also difficult to hit it out of the park from both ends. If you can pivot the model to vocational training and job matching instead of cliche white collar professional jobs, there can be a chance of this idea working out. Just compare your idea to what's happening in a state like kerala and country like philippens from decades. People migrated to different countries with vocational jobs at hand and are guiding those from their home towns to focus on those courses and skills specifically which still have a demand in foreign countries. If there's a business which can mimic this same principle , it can work wonderfully. However, the whole business should stick to exclusively train for the small scale jobs that have a demand domestically and abroad & equip the customer with all the necessities they require , like the skill in the first place, cracking the language proficiency tests if required , able to connect them to employers. There's a scope for lot of up selling but that shouldn't deviate from the root idea, that is, to make people ready for the kinds of jobs employers need. Sounds like an agent sitting in the corner office that promises jobs and visas to random people, Right. This is the major concern in this kind of business, TRUST. If you can deliver things honestly in the initial stages , then the chance of word of mouth publicity kicks in. Like I said, compare with the migrant jobs of keralites, why do they trust people who left the country. because they are family and friends. That kind of trust should be brought into the business to make it work and that comes only with transparency, honesty, affordable pricing and delivering accurately on skills that are in demand.
