this is brutally accurate, but also oversimplifies a complex relationship. Investors hear hundreds of pitches and have to be diplomatic. The "we love what you're doing" line isn't necessarily disingenuous - it means your idea has potential, but potential doesn't equal investment. Good founders understand that rejection isn't personal, it's just business. The real skill is reading between the lines and understanding what specific feedback you're NOT getting.
