A large population is a disadvantage. A high population benefits socialist countries where people work toward collective well-being. In capitalist countries, where individuals prioritize self-interest, a lower population is more effective. India falls somewhere in between - officially socialist, but in reality, driven by extreme self-interest and money. For such countries, a moderate population would be optimal
