Every SM is the same . Platforms are made of people and every person has their own beliefs and agenda. In the end everything narrows down to censorship from the platform admins. It's a double edged sword really , for growth in numbers and advertising companies to engage , platforms needed to be crowded and so the admins just try a blind eye to bigotry like that happened in Twitter and Facebook. They may try to sweetcoat the issue saying that they are promoting free speech but the reality is too obvious, they want to make money. I personally don't blame them, they have their priorities and me or anyone else has no right to say otherwise. But if a platform needs to specific to a particular issue, the censorship should be really tight . The admins should ruthlessly pull out the posts if they are not adhering to the platform protocols and regulations. It is definitely a unique proposition but yes , that comes at a price of low number of people on platform . This is just about the age old issue "QUALITY VS QUANTITY'. I personally want this platform to be a quality place to discuss purely about startups, ideas and business related discussions exclusively and I hope team MEDIAL would take this opportunity to make this a reality.
