šŸš€ "India is now the 3rd largest unicorn factory in the world. But how many of these unicorns are truly worth $1B?" As a student stepping into the startup world, Iā€™ve always admired Indiaā€™s booming ecosystem. The idea of building a billion-dollar company is inspiring. But while reading the Indus Valley Annual Report 2025, I came across a surprising stat: āž”ļø Out of 117 Indian unicorns, only 91 are still valued above $1B āž”ļø Some have devalued, others got acquired, and many struggled after going public. This made me wonder: Are we chasing unicorn status over sustainable businesses? I see so many founders raising huge rounds, but how many are actually solving real problems and building profitable companies? As I enter this world, I want to focus on long-term impact over short-term hype. But Iā€™d love to hear from experienced founders and investors: šŸ”¹ What does it take to build a truly lasting startup? šŸ”¹ Should young entrepreneurs focus on funding or fundamentals first? Drop your thoughts belowā€”Iā€™m eager to learn! šŸ‘‡ #IndianStartups #VentureCapital #Entrepreneurship #Funding
