When it comes to social media, only 1-2 apps with the same concept can work becayof network effect. So if one is aldredy working on a particular concept, I don't think there's any reason to start it's copy unless you're doing that differently.

I have never really understood why and how apps like hood and hunch have close to a million users. Hunch is literally a polling app and hood is basically twitter. The fact that they are still growing baffles me. Anyone knows why?
