Depends on condition person to person if someone is young and just passed out he can go for more equity and less fixed, but that fixed is also something which motivates one to wake up and come to work otherwise he will be just finding jobs while sitting in office. Equity helps : 1) Team, how much founder is concerned about the problem, they are more of solving a problem or just want to play a fundraising game. 2) what do you think about the team overall Always equity and fixed should be in a combination and most of the time equity is given to attract good talent, because now a days people want skin in the game.
