Hi all, Need one suggestion, which one will be better option to choose: Business Analyst role with service based company or Technical role with product based company with experience of 2.5 years?
Being an ex-Business Analyst, breaking into Product will give you a lot of grip around the working experience of a company. Your value to the team or the company is defined on the way you work on *your* product. While service-based companies have their own pros, I'd suggest you to opt for any Tech role of a Product Based Company for the assurance of getting a huge learning about a product and the market itself.
I would suggest Service based company. Where innovation happens, You could learn and Upskill more, Interactive with lots of customer gives you indepth knowledge on the problems. Where you may come up with a solution.
A tech role in a product based company will give you more hands on experience and more exposure.
Go for the product based company and take as much as hands on experience you can. It’ll be better for you later on
Product based companies are more chill, as far as I’ve experienced
If it’s your first job, go for the service/analyst role, will get you into that discipline you’ll need later in product based companies with technical roles.
