Do you fully own a domain?
- Buying a domain from GoDaddy means leasing it, not owning it permanently
- You control it as long as you renew it
- GoDaddy is just a registrar managing domain registrations, so you can transfer your domain to another
Perhaps they should use the words properly in their ads. There are no regulations for such things
