𝗝𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗜𝗔 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 In 1993, Jensen Huang was 30 years old, working at LSI Logic, and raising two young children. Yet, he quit his stable job to co-found NVIDIA. Most people would see that as a huge risk. He didn’t. Jensen believed in himself and his co-founders. He trusted that even if NVIDIA failed, he would find something else—maybe something even better. The decision wasn’t a long debate. It wasn’t even a full dinner conversation. He later told Berkeley students that starting a company isn’t the life-or-death decision people make it out to be. What really matters is this: Do you love the people you’re working with? Do you love the work you’re doing? Do you love it enough to push through setbacks, failures, and bad days? Because there will be plenty of those. Most people hesitate to take big risks, fearing failure as if it’s permanent. But Jensen saw the bigger picture—when you believe in yourself and the work you do, there’s always another way forward.
