The Truth About E-Commerce, Food Delivery & Quick Services – Are They Really What They Seem? But have we ever questioned what these services truly mean for local businesses, economies, and consumer behavior? The Hidden Reality Many of these platforms market themselves as time-saving, cost-effective, and essential. However, behind the scenes, they often: Monopolize the market, reducing fair competition for local sellers. Charge high commissions, forcing businesses to increase prices or operate at lower margins. Control pricing and service quality, leaving both consumers and vendors with limited control. So what's now? I created a ecosystem called Hyper local gig marketplace.

If we look closely, then yes, traditional FMCG platforms may not be very focused on e-commerce, but they are quite active in quick commerce. Initially, HUL seemed a bit behind, but now they are also introducing their products on these platforms.
