India got Latent gone. WTF. The same thing happened to AIB because of one singular comment, but that was a different case. Here, Ranveer made an inappropriate remark, so he should be the one facing charges, not the entire show. The government is still following the old approach—media builds attention, negative attention, and then the government steps in. Also, in one of the episodes of TRS, the same comment was made by another guest. The podcast wasn’t even that popular, and nothing happened. And to be honest, not to such an extent, but these kinds of discussions do take place in friend groups as a general thing. We aren’t getting criminalized for it. I am not in favor of whatever nonsense Ranveer said, but that doesn’t mean the whole thing should be shut down. Criminalize Ranveer—he has a habit of not hesitating, which he does just to get views.
