𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲, from Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, failed the CAT exam three times and dropped out of MBA studies. Inspired by traveling across India and working at McDonald's, he decided to start a tea business. Started with an initial investment of ₹8,000 (~$100) on SG Highway, Ahmedabad. Earned ₹300 on the first day, which motivated him to expand. Faced opposition from local tea vendors, had no experience in tea-making, and faced family resistance. Adopted a franchise model, allowing local owners to operate while the brand handled marketing and branding. Franchise investment ranged from ₹10-15 lakh, with kiosk, dine-in, and lounge models. Used unique marketing tactics like free tea for singles on Valentine’s Day, poetry nights, and job boards. Leveraged social media and influencer marketing to grow brand awareness. Became a motivational speaker at IITs, IIMs, and business events. Organized fundraisers for Kerala and Bihar floods and supported underprivileged children. Grew to 50+ outlets across India, generating over ₹4 crore (~$480,000) in annual revenue. Estimated net worth of ₹25 crore (~$3 million). Monthly earnings of approximately ₹25 lakh (~$30,000) from franchise fees, sponsorships, and YouTube. Plans to expand franchises in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Exploring international expansion and potential IPO listing in the future. Success story showcases how creative marketing, social engagement, and smart franchising can turn a simple idea into a multi-crore brand. Follow me vishakha Jangir for more such insights. :)
