Here is the answer:- ✓ According to the recent sebi guidelines anyone providing professional investment advice or recommendations must be registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst. ✓ Unregistered individuals or entities are not allowed to provide investment advice or influence others to buy securities for compensation. ✓ Influencers must not use unpublished price-sensitive information to recommend stocks or mutual funds. This is governed by the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015. ✓ Also in 2023, SEBI issued a consultation paper proposing stricter regulations for fin-fluencers to ensure transparency and accountability. All the above statements prove that this is surely the violation of SEBI guidelines.
