i didn't understand startup showcase , I mean I do get that people speak about their startup idea but when it comes to upvoting...it's basically bringing public notice to the idea but wouldn't this lead medial to more of a marketing / advertising platform becoz eventually everyone would be speaking ABT thier particular startup. why can't upvoting be of 2 step process where 2nd step would be speaking( basically commenting )of other startup idea on startup showcase .

that's a really great idea. I myself personally love the user inputs rather than upvotes. for any founder/co-founder the validation is the top priority rather than money (atleast I am one of that kind). ++ for bringing this up. 👍🏻
