We did an event with Physics wallah recently what a rubbish management! There deliverables were snacks + venue. All seems to good, but here’s the twist at time of distribution of snacks, they said sorry we can’t do, let people go (people were there for more than 5hrs!) I was like: What the hell! If there was a problem they could have informed earlier but NO, At the time of distribution! We somehow bought some pizzas, chips & drinks but people had to wait the deli every time (35mins!). (This is what we did of our own) Felt embarrassed, that people who trusted and came were not able get things on time. Something’s I have now promised myself 1. No delay in food 2. My every event will have snacks or food 3. Not to engage with PW again or similar organisations (Though there was a guy(single guy) in there who actually helped us when things turned upside down, in panic we forgot to ask him his name. God bless his soul + I would be happy to do something if can for him)
