I went to a lan event yestesterday. The games that were going to be conducted are BGMI, Free Fire, FIFA, Teken 7, Call of Duty Mobile and Valorant. The overall prize pool was 1 lakh inr. The entry fee was 700 inr for Solo and 1800 for squad. 1- First of all the entry fee were very high, which should not be this much. 2- Out of the seven games, Call of Duty Event was not conducted. 3- Teken 7 event was cancelled. 4- Valorant was also cancelled by the mutual understanding of both the teams. MSI was the sponsor for the event and they provided laptops for the valorant players to play. As you know each team has a minimum of 5 players and at a time 2 teams will play, so they provided 10 laptops. But only 4 chargers were given to each team. Without chargers the players will have to play in low frame rates which was unfair. Most frustrating part was the management team was focusing more on the performances of local influencers rather than solving the problem that the players are facing
