There's a huge fallacy in consumer apps, that you can solve retention by building a new usecase.
As you keep introducing new screens on your app, the conversion % keeps dropping.
Most people don't get this.
The law of averages always works.
You keep calling, showing up, doing the reps
and one day, it lands.
Not because you're smart.
Not because you're lucky.
But because numbers don't lie.
You just quit too early.

make an app so good that your users keep it on their home screen.
if your app is next to whatsapp, insta, or upi apps, you’ve passed the hardest retention test in India and already built a habit.
I just got to know the history of which apps I had installed 7 years ago n they were mostly games😭
You can also check yours by going to playstore > manage apps and device > click on "This device" and select Not installed and scroll till the end😂
What habit or hobby of yours do you think deserves a loyalty-based subscription? Oh, I'll go first: I’d love to get free coffee from my favourite café because I keep going there every other day! 🤣😭
