Idea Validation. A restaurant where people don't pay for what they eat instead they will pay for the time spent in the restaurant. Basically an anti-cafe model. The per minute charge will be around 4-5 rupees. The serving will be a Buffet Model. At entry every one will get a receipt 🧾 with name and entry time on it, and at exit the total amount will be calculated based on the time spent inside the restaurant. I think this works in front of colleges, hospitals, it-parks etc.

hi shivaram, idea is workable but lot of calculation needs to be done. like 4-5 rupee per minute will make it around 240-300 per hour. now if two people are there, that way they have shell out 480-600 per hour so they will prefer movie for 2-3 hours in less budget.

what about the pricing of food they eat. If you charge for time not product they can eat whatever and however much they want to eat in less time. A man eats a meal on average of 25 minutes, so according to your model he/she have to pay ₹25 × 5 min = ₹125 rupees and the food would be worth more than ₹125...
