I actually had a similar idea. But someone gave me a reality check. The middleman offers a higher price to the farmer because he sells for a higher price. Also, the farmers aren't exactly very tech savvy and even more so, they aren't very happy maintaining a warehouse and waiting for people to buy. They'd prefer selling in bulk and at once. This is where the existing middle man is more to offer. The farmer does not lose much if they vegetables/crops are not sold completely by the middle man.
