Can any one make me understand about the process and what is the correct path for the investment rounds and what are they named at each level.

Unpopular opinion: You don't need VC money at all. The obsession with funding rounds is killing real entrepreneurship. Everyone's chasing vanity metrics instead of building sustainable businesses. Look at Mailchimp, bootstrapped all the way to $12B acquisition. Current market data for B2B SaaS: Seed: $1-3M @ $5-10M valuation Series A: $8-12M @ $40-60M valuation Series B: $20-40M @ $150-300M valuation Series C: $50-100M @ $500M-1B valuation But these numbers mean nothing without context. Revenue multiples have dropped significantly. VCs want to see efficiency now, not just growth at all costs.
