D2C ruined the Indian startup ecosystem. Change my opinion.
The problem wasn’t D2C itself, but that many D2C startups jumped in just because it was trendy, not because they had a unique value proposition
Come on man there’s room for both innovation and disruption...it’s just about doing it right
How so? When the economy does well people have disposable income and so they buy stuff and people are always interested in buying new stuff so new companies kept showing up. That's why D2C is doing well
No way. They disrupted the mammoths like hul nestle
D2C startups may struggle, but they brought innovation. Traditional FMCG giants like HUL and ITC were forced to adapt because of D2C brands like Wow Skin Science and boAt.
Ruined? No way. D2C gave power back to smaller players. Mamaearth, The Souled Store, and Sleepy Owl disrupted legacy markets that were stuck in the 90s.
