Magicpin Launches 15-Minute Food Delivery Service New Service of Magicpin: Magicnow Hyperlocal delivery startup magicpin has announced the launch of magicNOW, a revolutionary 15-minute food delivery service. Following a successful pilot phase, magicNOW aims to transform food delivery across six major Indian cities. The service promises quick deliveries while ensuring food freshness and cuisine integrity. A Fresh Approach to Instant Food Delivery magicNOW operates within a strict 1.5-2 km delivery radius to ensure food stays fresh. Unlike many competitors, the service does not rely on dark stores. Instead, magicpin partners directly with restaurants specialising in dishes with quick preparation times. This innovative approach guarantees that customers receive freshly prepared food every time. Within the pilot phase which took from 14th Nov to 15th Dec, magicNOW was able to make 75k deliveries in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru. Success of the service has instigated the service industry to take its service portfolio to Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad & Pune next. Powered by Partnerships and Logistics To power its 15-minute delivery model, magicNOW leverages Velocity by magicpin, a platform aggregating third-party logistics providers. These include popular names such as Shadowfax, Dunzo, Rapido, Porter, OLA, and Zypp. By working with these providers, magicNOW ensures seamless and reliable deliveries. This is evident by magicpin having partnerships with over 2,000 brands and 1,000+ restaurants locally to support magicNOW. Companies such as Burger King, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, etc., and several well-known local restaurants such as Chaayos and Faasos, too, are associated with the platform. It means that this vast network can help the service deliver the product that accommodate various tastes of the customers. Competing in a Growing Market The launch of magicNOW comes at a time when competition in the instant food delivery segment is intensifying. To stand out, magicpin focuses on offering affordable and efficient services. For instance, during Diwali 2024, the company reduced its platform fee to INR 5, making it significantly cheaper than competitors like Zomato and Swiggy. magicpin also witnessed tremendous growth on ONDC, processing 150,000 daily orders for food and logistics. This marks a staggering 1500x surge in just 16 months. By fulfilling 90% of food orders through major buyer apps like Paytm, Tata Neu, and OLA, magicpin has cemented its place as a leader in the hyperlocal delivery space.
