Why are people against Wafq? There are five main reasons. Improper Title Search: Certain properties are bought and sold without a proper title search encroaching on Wafq land. These individuals then have a vested interest to oppose. Land Sharks: Those who want to grab Wafq Properties for their own personal gains such as land grabbing or expanding a parcel of land. Corruption Within the Wafq Boards: Corruption by certain individual board members to sell Wafq Properties. This may affect buyers in the know or innocent buyers. Influenced Individuals: The last category consists of citizens who have been rallied up by their religious or political leaders. These are influenced individuals who do not bother to check the facts.
