Three weeks ago, I was heavily attacked, when I had called out that Adani group’s biggest better (GQG) had lied to its investors 😅😅 Usual tribe - “Anti-Indian”, “Shame on you”, “Congressi”, “Pappu” etc. And now, what I had shared is officially validated. .. What was the lie? Big Adani backer (Rajiv Jain led GQG) had released a client note, sharing its reasons to stay invested in the group companies. In that, claimed in the note that in November 2023, the US Government invested over $500mn alongside Adani in a Sri Lankan post. And it added that GQG doubts that US Govt would have invested in an Adani project if they had such bribery concerns. It was a blatant and outright lie! 📛📛 .. Calling it out, I had emphasised the following facts: 1> US Govt never INVESTED alongside Adani. It signed a deal to LEND money to Adani and its local joint venture partner 2> None of the money under the LOAN deal has been disbursed to date. NOT A PENNY! 3> US Govt’s IDFC is actively re-examining its decision on financing that port Now, Adani has officially withdrawn its application for that LOAN. Which proves no investment ever happened. .. Unfortunately, we are living in an India, where speaking truth gets you called “Anti-India”. There is a whole brigade of people, who won’t even look at facts or reasoning, but just unleash hate no you because you don’t think the way they do. Somehow, being aware becomes a crime here, and creating awareness a bigger one. Plus, any which way, how does me calling out the lie of a foreign investor called GQG make me Anti-India? Just doesn’t add up. And yet, it adds up for some 😅😅 Best, Jayant

Why just blame Adani Group? 📛📛 Days ago, there was a big furore over Adani depending on Chinese vendors for the machinery to domestically manufacture solar modules and cells. But, that’s highly misleading. And in fact, it’s highly hypocritical.
